This 47 page unit has been
designed for students to use as they learn about and gain a better
understanding of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. A great variety of pages have
been designed to give students a place to organize and record what they have
learned in the process of their investigation. Particular pages can be assigned
or students may be given a choice as to which they prefer to use.
Students should be encouraged to read, research, investigate, record, create, color and share throughout the project! Upon completion, each student should produce a completed Hanukkah Shape Book.
Completed books can be displayed on student bulletin boards, placed in portfolios or simply kept as a memory and proof of their learning journey.
